You’re consistent.
You’re disciplined.
You’re showing up.

So why are you not improving
 yet?

Here’s the reality most runners miss—especially women:

  • You’re training the same way every day
  • Your body isn’t receiving a clear signal to adapt
  • And your physiology is being ignored, not optimized

For female athletes, this matters even more.

Hormones influence:
→ Recovery
→ Energy availability
→ Adaptation to training

If your plan doesn’t respect that

you’re not just plateauing—you’re limiting your potential.

Post of the week

Thomas Panek became the first blind runner to complete a half marathon supported by assistive A.I. glasses.

The goal isn’t more effort.
It’s better structure + smarter variation.

👉 The athletes who improve don’t train harder.
They train differently.

Take a moment and ask yourself:

Are you actually progressing

or just repeating?

If this resonates, share it with someone who’s “doing everything right”
 but still stuck.

The "Squishy vs. Stiff" Debate: New Foam Biomechanics Study

A study published this week in the Journal of Sports Biomechanics compared ultra-soft foams (like Nike ZoomX) vs. stiffer Peba foams (like Saucony PWRRUN HG). It found that runners with lower cadences (<160 bpm) benefit more from the "stiff" foams, as "squishy" foams lead to energy dissipation (leakage) if the foot contact time is too long.

📖Today's Quote or James Clear's Corner.
"The mindset:

Confident enough to start. Humble enough to keep learning.

The trap:

Too humble to start. Or too confident to keep learning." James Clear, is the Author of Atomic Habits
